Marc Holme Joins Evolito as CTO: Driving Innovation in Axial-Flux Electric Motors

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Holme as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Evolito. This strategic move is aimed at bolstering the company’s growth trajectory in the electric aviation industry.

Marc Holme, with his impressive 24-year career in aviation, steps into the role of CTO to lead the technological advancement and future direction of the axial-flux e-motor and propulsion product line. His previous experience as the Senior Director of Engineering at Collins Aerospace, coupled with his extensive experience leading numerous aircraft system electrification programs, positions him uniquely for this role.

This key appointment follows a remarkable year for Evolito, which received Design Organisation Approval (DOA) from the UK Civil Aviation Authority for its electric propulsion system products in December 2023. Evolito is already collaborating with several OEM partners to develop motors and propulsion systems for a range of eVTOL, Urban Air Mobility, and fixed-wing applications, with a series of customer test flights anticipated later this year.
