Motor

The D250

Aviation is undergoing a structural shift toward hybrid‑electric architectures, driven by the need to reduce emissions while maintaining range, payload and operational flexibility. In these systems, reliable, high‑efficiency electric power generation becomes mission‑critical.

The D250 has a lightweight, compact package with performance optimised at rotorcraft engine speeds.

The D500

Electric Engines

We design, certify and manufacture electric engines that power electric flight.

Electric Motors

We design, engineer and manufacture electric motors for propulsion and generation.

Motor Controls

Control systems designed for safety-critical electric propulsion and generation.

What maintenance interval are your engines designed to?

5,000 flight hours

Why do you use liquid cooling when your competitors use air cooling?

Liquid cooling provides the controlled thermal environment required for sustained high‑power operation in compact machines, without the performance and aerodynamic penalties of air‑cooled designs

Why are hybrid‑electric architectures becoming the industry standard?

Hybrid architectures reduce fuel burn and emissions while preserving range and payload by optimising power flow across the whole energy‑transfer system, rather than relying on batteries alone.

Is the D500 suitable for power generation and APU‑style operation?

Yes, the D500 is designed for continuous, high‑efficiency power generation within hybrid systems, including roles traditionally served by auxiliary power units.

How does the D500 integrate into hybrid powertrain architectures?

The D500 is designed to integrate cleanly with engines, gearboxes and electrical systems as part of a system‑level hybrid architecture.

Do you offer a controller for your motors?

Yes, all of our motors are designed to operate seamlessly with Evolito’s MC350 as part of an, aerospace‑grade power‑generation system. Link to Motor Controls.

I need more power, what is your solution?

Higher power levels can be achieved by stacking multiple D500 or D250 motors within a common, scalable architecture.
