Our D250 motors are designed for both low torque and high speed applications, and can be coupled with a reduction stage to achieve required torque propellor speeds, or directly matched to propellor speeds, removing the need for a reduction stage for lower power applications.
The compact design is ideal for aircraft where either low speed, low power or high speed and high power is required, from a very low mass electric motor.
The D250 features best in class peak specific torque of ~16Nm/kg, within the compact design that weighs only ~13kg and measuring ∅370mm x 125mm, enabling architectures with challenging packaging requirements.
